CLEMENT'S PLACE JAZZ - NEWARK, NJ

Had an amazing musical experience at Clement's Place with Jorge Sylvester Spirit Driven Quintet. A really great musical space, very high end. The folks running it attend to every detail - great food, beautiful bar, lovely stage and the audience, welcoming, sophisticated listeners who support the musicians from their heart. A jewel of a jazz club in downtown Newark.

The all star band included:  Jorge Sylvester-alto saxophonist, composer, arranger, leader; Nora McCarthy (yours truly) - voice, compositions, poetry, lyrics; James Weidman-piano; Jeffrey Carney-acoustic bass; and, Ethan Kogen-drums.
