Nora McCarthy: Music

Roads

A late-night realization, in the middle of no-where, on a journey to understand the consequences of life. A labor of love from a broken-hearted mother trying to cope with the truth. As with most of my writing, voices from the other "side" - my guides.
I did exist,
so says my song,
remember this,
remember this,
everything remains the same.

Where did I go,
just who will know,
the thought of this,
the thought of this,
everything remains the same.

Those passing this way
will never notice,
the forest from the trees.
Where ever they've gone
we're sure to follow,
just like rivers,
so are we.

The many roads,
we travel down,
realities and make believes,
everything remains the same,
everything remains the same.

The more things change,
the more they stay the same.
